Rocky Mountain Property Tax Consultants, Inc. provides two essential services:
• Examination and analysis of your individual County property valuation to determine the feasibility of a reduction of your valuation and property taxes.
• When Rocky Mountain Property Tax Consultants, Inc. decides it is warranted, we will act as your agent to protest the assessor’s determination of value. Our protest services provide an individual protest to the Assessor or his/her authorized representative and will terminate when the Assessor renders his/her decision on your protest.
Colorado Counties Property Valuation Appeal Process involves three distinct stages (or levels) of appeal: (1) Protest of Assessor’s Notice of Valuation; (2) County Board of Equalization Appeals; and (3) Appeal of the County Board of Equalization decision through Binding Arbitration. Our services are limited to the first and second stages of the process. After discussion with you (the client) and depending on the appeal case in question, Rocky Mountain Property Tax Consultants, Inc may agree to represent you in Binding Arbitration.
FEES
Rocky Mountain Property Tax Consultants, Inc. fees to perform these services are:
Residential Appeals
• $150 per residential property paid in advance for background preparation and filing the appeal.
• 50% of the first year’s tax savings IF ROCKY MOUNTAIN PROPERTY TAX CONSULTANTS, INC. IS SUCCESSFUL in reducing the assessed value of your property. (No fee for the second year’s tax savings).
Commercial/Industrial Appeals
• $175 per residential property paid in advance for background preparation and filing the appeal.
• 50% of the first year’s tax savings IF ROCKY MOUNTAIN PROPERTY TAX CONSULTANTS, INC. IS SUCCESSFUL in reducing the assessed value of your property. (No fee for the second year’s tax savings).
